Wansbeck Disability Forum
The Wansbeck Disability Forum is starting its outreach sessions in the Stakeford and Choppington area.
The Stakeford and Choppington Parish Council will be hosting the drop-in sessions and are backing the WDF on the Disability Hate Crime project.
I would like to say a big thank you to David, the clerk of the parish council, for all thehelp and backing he is giving the WDF.
The WDF will also be linking in with the parish drop in sessions, this will be launched in early October 2011.
The date and time will follow, any ne who has any disability issues or want to find out what we are doing please come along and have a chat.
A WDF Youth Team will also be launched, if anyone who is the 18-25 years age group and would like to sit on that committee, or volunteer to help with the drop-in please contact us, or come to the launch. All our committee members will be happy to talk to you and help in what ever way they can. All information given will be kept confidential and private.
If you would like to help with the Disability Hate Crime project, or need to report any hate crime we will be there and take your information and pass it on to the police, we offer after care which is so important, we have a 24/7 mobile number if needed.
We look forward to meeting you for any of the reasons mentioned, or just come for a chat.
