Ashington minor football round-up
In the Northern Alliance Premier Division, Ashington Colliers drew 1-1 with visitors Murton, who are yet to win on their travels.
Within a minute of the kick-off, Murton's Chris Wilson put his side in front, but after half an hour Marc Richardson restored parity for the Colliers.
Lowick United moved up to second in Division One of the Sportsworld North Northumberland League as they came from behind to take the points at Ashington Athletic.
John McAlpine and Paul Keys had given them the lead but Anthony Murray, Carl Avery and Andy Burgon were all on target for Lowick.
Teams are wanted to join the MB Six-a-Side Socca Leagues at Ashington's Hirst Welfare. Contact Graham on 07891 321 753.
