Bedlington Terriers Reserves were on the wrong end of a heavy defeat at Rothbury in the North Northumberland League this weekend.

Four goals from Jackie Angus, three by Craig Sutton and single strikes by Stuart Foreman, Alan Brown, Michael Ord and Scott Rennison saw the home team net 11 times.

Berwick Town put in a better performance, but still lost out to Shaun McKay and Kyle Kennedy efforts for Shilbottle.

Acklington Athletic had Geordie Brown on target, but lost out with two Michael Freathy finishes and a Josh Harem counter for Ashington Athletic.

Two apiece from Gary Fairbairn, Anthony Murray and Simon Laidlaw gave Lowick the points at Berwick United Reserves, whose two goals came from Craig Young and Michael Gray.

In Division Two, Lynemouth Institute had Darren Durn (twice), Liam Grisdale, Tony Messenger and Kevin Halliday on the scoresheet against Hedgeley Rovers.

Strikes from Stuart Bertram and Ryan Taylor saw the points shared in the game between Alnmouth United and Wooler.

Neil Jefferson netted twice for Belford in the win over Embleton WR, whose single reply came from Daniel Donohoe.

Daniel Johnson, Tony Parkin and Kevin Potts were all on target for Bamburgh, but Boulmer took a share of the points thanks to two Matthew Sullivan finishes and an Adam Stanton effort.

Craster led by a Ryan Copland counter, but a second-half hat-trick from George Scott gave Rothbury Reserves the points.

We'd like to hear from you.
