Ashington Colliers out of league cup
Premier Division Cramlington Town and Ashington Colliers were both shown the exit by lower division opponents in the Kicks Leisure League Cup.
The Colliers were beaten 3-1 by Second Division Newcastle BT, Rob Beverley (2) and Greg Hamilton scoring for BT before Joe Moscrop's consolation.
Last season's cup winners Cullercoats made a first round exit this time, beaten 2-1 at Hillheads by First Division colleagues Whitley Bay A. Last term's beaten finalists Harraby hammered Second Division cup visitors Willington Quay Saints 12-0.
