Ashington Colliers fall to away defeat
Cramlington Town finally celebrated their first Northern Alliance league win by clinching a 2-1 verdict away to Ashington Colliers, who had picked up maximum points from their two previous outings.
Kevin Long opened Cramlington's account midway through the first half only for Marc Pattie to level for the Colliers just before the break. But Long's second goal of the game after 65 minutes settled the issue.
Walker Central, 3-0 victors at home to Seaton Delaval, remain three points clear of Wark at the head of the table.
