Ashington Colliers beat league leaders
Last season's Northern Alliance champions Walker Central were beaten for the first time this term, going down 4-2 against Ashington Colliers at Monkchester.
After Glen Taylor gave Ashington a half-time lead, the Central hit back through Steve Forster and David Dormand to go in front.
However, the Colliers finished strongly with goals in the last 15 minutes for John Rees, Joe Moscrop and Anthony Wright wrapping up the points.
After having different fortunes in respective home games Wark and Walker Central swapped places as the former took over pole position, albeit on the basis of goal difference.
