Theft of bracelet in Ashington

A man seized a tray of gold bracelets from a jewellers.

The thief walked into the Thomas Hylton jewellers in North Seaton Road, Ashington, just before 12.10pm yesterday and made off with the tray.

He is described as aged between 20 and 22, with short hair and a pointed nose. He was very slim and wore a blue T-shirt and dark trousers.

Police said he may have been with another man of similar age who was wearing grey clothes.

Anyone offered bracelets for sale is asked to contact police.

People with information are asked to call police on 03456 043 043 or ring CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.
