In the Ashington incident, two men entered a house in Castle Terrace at around 10pm on Friday last week, before launching an assaulted on the 21-year-old occupant.

He was with friends near to the pavilion on the Eastfield Lea playing fields in Shankhouse, when he was approached and attacked by two men at around 10pm on Monday.
One of the attackers is described as being tall, dark skinned and was wearing a dark coloured hooded top. There is no description of the second.
Cramlington neighbourhood sergeant Mick Aspey said: "This would appear to be an unprovoked attack on a young man.
"I would urge anyone with information to contact Cramlington Police on 0345 604-3043 ext 61844 or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
