Industrial artist gets Woodhorn exhibition

An exhibition of paintings by renowned industrial artist Tom McGuinness opens to the public at the Woodhorn visitor attraction near Ashington on Saturday and runs until September 6.

Mr McGuinness worked in the coal mines for 39 years and his work showcases both the heyday and demise of the industry.
