Craster kippers voted top Northumbrian food
Craster kippers have been voted your favourite Northumbrian food in a poll on the Your Place community websites.
Kippers got 30% of the votes, beating Cheviot lamb (22%) and ice cream (17%).
Votes were also cast for Horncliffe honey, chillies from Coanwood, Blagdon cheese, potatoes from Cornhill, plus oysters and mussels from Lindisfarne.
