Ashington Booze Brothers lose 3-2
Pegswood Ex-Services swept aside Ox Inn with a 9-0 thrashing in Division One of the Morpeth Sunday League.
Lee McAndrew scored five, Carl Sanders took a hat-trick and Josh Gilmartin completed the scoring.
Stobhill Social Club held Lynemouth to a draw. Michael Davis and Stephen Warwick cancelled each other out.
Bedlington Northumberland Arms won 3-2 at home to Ashington Booze Brothers through Phil Gallons, Paul McGlen and Paul Armstrong. Gary Wallace and Chad Miller scored for Booze Brothers.
Linton and Woodhorn took three points at Alnmouth Argyle with a 3-1 win. Stu Bremner netted for Argyle, but Davie Jones, Kevin Bell and Michael Freathy won it.
Leaders Castington faced Wansbeck Riverside in Division Two, winning 5-4. Joe Longstaff, Kieron Farrell, Alan Trotter, Chris Davidson and Steve Wintersgill all scored but the Riverside's Ricky Machin (3) and Nathan Williamson pushed them.
Blackthorn Rovers kept on Castington's heels with a 6-0 win over Morpeth Chantry. Craig Robinson (5) and Andrew Timson scored. Bedlington Barrington Arms enjoyed a 5-0 win at East Chevington. David Scott (3), Steven Scott and Dylan Williamson scored.
Morpeth Waterford Lodge also won 5-0 at home to Block and Tackle. Graham Vass (2), John Farrell (2) and Michael Harmer scored. Ellington claimed their first league win of the season, 4-2 at Alnwick A. David Brown and John Breeze scored for the home side, but Ellington's Shaun Dodds, Marty Scovell and Dean Short (2) won it. Bedlington Station saw Sean Taggart, Scott Marshall and Chris Dobie (2) score in a 4-1 win at Guide Post Social Club. Andrew Thompson scored for Guide Post.
Bottom club Chatton hosted runaway leaders Bedlington Station Railway in Division Three. The Railway maintained their 100% record with a 9-2 win. Barry Rochester and Chris Stanwix scored for Chatton, whilst David Cavigan (4), Liam Candlish (2), Jamie Earl, Darren Dodd and an own-goal won it.
Bomarsund Social Club lost 4-3 to Felton. Alex Lawson (2) and Kris Tait scored for Bomarsund while Felton's Mark Cockburn, Tony Brown, Dale Kennedy and David McCann won it.
Morpeth White Swan won 3-0 at home to Ashington Conchie through Scott Sherrington (2) and Darren Percy, while Amble Dock lost 1-0 to local rivals North End Trap. Dan Jewson scored.
Ashington Hirst Industrial won 4-2 at Morpeth Black Bull through Adam Gallagher (2), Mark Cooper and Kris Allington. Kelvin Dodds and Micky Bray scored for the Bull.
Red Row Brick Club won 3-1 against North Seaton Elephant in the quarter final of the Lewin Cup. Ian Common (2) and Joe Moscrop scored, while Dave Lang got Elephant's.
