Posted by The Journal on Jan 12, 09 04:42 PM in News

Thousands of pounds of tools have been stolen from the Jubilee industrial estate in Ashington.

Cutting equipment was used to remove the door of a unit before building equipment worth £18,000 was stolen. The break-in happened between 4pm on Saturday and 10.45am on Sunday.

Anyone who has any information about the break-in or has been offered any cut-price tools is being asked to contact Ashington CID.

We'd like to hear from you.
