Seaton Hirst lead Ashington snooker league
Seaton Hirst A (30) head the field in the snooker section of the Ashington Veterans League by six points from Choppington B, who move up to second following a 3-0 home win against Guidepost.
Making a strong bid to lift the billiards title are Lynemouth (27), who are two points in front of joint second-placed Vets B and Choppington B. Bomarsund A (21) are a further four points adrift in third.
RESULTS: Vets D Vs S/Hirst A, snooker 3-0, billiards 2-1, Vets B Vs Bomarsund A 2-1, 2-1, Lynmouth Vs Benton 1-2, 3-0, S/Hirst A Vs Vets C 2-1, 1-2, Bomarsund B Vs Vets A 1-2, 2-1, Choppington B Vs Guidpost 3-0, 2-1.
