Ashington exhibition to mark WI's anniversary
An exhibition to mark the 90th anniversary of the Northumberland Federation of the Women's Institute has opened at Woodhorn Museum.
Arts and crafts and historical documents and memorabilia have gone on display as well as a special video, compiled by Woodhorn staff, in which ladies with more than 50 years membership talk about their experiences within the WI.
The exhibition runs until Sunday January 4 and is open Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm during October and 10am to 4pm during November, December and January.
