Ashington Basketball Club is looking to attract new players.

The club was set up as an under-12 Central Venue League operation in April last year by the Eagles Community Foundation, the charity arm of the Newcastle Eagles Basketball Club.

Now it is looking to expand with under-14, under-16 and under-18 age groups.

The club meets every Monday at Ashington Leisure Centre and is run by experienced Eagles Community Foundation community coach Anthony Sampson.

Sessions are from 4-5pm (under-12s), 5-6pm (under-14s) and 6-7pm (under-16s and under-18s). Boy and girl players are welcome, regardless of experience.

Contact Anthony on 07717 752 880 or (0191) 245 3881.

We'd like to hear from you.
